The Villa

Blurry Shadows

Sandcastle's architecture borrows from the Maleness granaries with its sandcastle like spires as well as influences from Santa Fe and Mexico. Plastered with beach sand and embracing an adobe technique of mud packing to obtain the undulating feel on the walls, you will feel as if you are living in a real life sandcastle.

Inspired by nature with its honeycomb like layout, the villa has 4 en-suite ocean facing bedrooms and multiple open plan living areas. All with unbroken views and floor to ceiling windows, and lush Egyptian cotton linens to offer the utmost for a luxurious night's rest.

The Lounge

A peaceful retreat at the heart of the house, the lounge is the epicentre of the villa with its wrap around ocean views and plush chairs to take it all in.

Brush Strokes
Brush Strokes

With an infinity pool seemingly plunging into the Indian Ocean, gaze out over kilometers of untouched, private beach front and ancient coastal forest. Stretch out on day beds and sun loungers as swallows skim the surface of the water and giraffe join you for evening sundowners. Breathe in the crisp ocean air with hints of the African bushveld , and allow yourself to be hypnotised by a chorus of birdsong.

The Bedrooms

With four ocean facing en-suite bedrooms at Sandcastle, adorned with the finest Egyptian cotton linen and towelling, you get to enjoy life's finer things while in the remotest of settings.

  • A king-bedded room with twin bed option

  • Interleading suites (3 & 4)

  • Walk-in dressing room and dual vanity

  • Rain shower and bath with ocean views

  • Air conditioning

  • In-room safes

  • Suite size: 130 sqm / 1400 sqft

We stared out at the calm surface of the ocean broken only in places by breaching whales, while closer to the shore a string of dolphins was slowly traversing across the horizon. In this setting, it’s hard to not feel like you’ve found freedom.
